Hello All --
I'm not afraid to openly admit how much I love the original line-up of Alcatrazz -- they'll be one of my '80's Metal Guilty Pleasures until the bitter end. How bad can a band be that first introduces a young Yngwie Malstreem to the world? Unfortunately, their time together was ridiculously brief, and the amount of material they left behind uncommonly small.
Of course there's the studio album must-have "No Parole From Rock 'N' Roll" (1983) and the live label release "Live Sentence" (19894), which is a fine performance, but suffers from somewhat average sound.
That's why I was downright euphoric when a friend recently hooked me up with the set before you. Both sound and performance top "Live Sentence", the crowd is fantastic and eager, and the band simply SHREDS. The best sounding Alcatrazz set I have yet to hear.
Here's the info that came with the folder. God Bless and Big Props to the original ripper/uploader for getting this into circulation!
Ripped by CHELROB:
Alcatrazz (Featuring Yngwie Malmsteen) - Live at the Country Club
Reseda, California. October 1983
Lineage: My original silver CD -> EAC (log included) -> wav -> FLAC frontend 1.7, Level 8 (flac 1.1.2).
Graham Bonnett - Vocals
Yngwie Malmsteen - Guitar
Gary Shea - Bass
Jan Uvena - Drums
Jimmy Waldo - Keyboards
This was originally broadcast on FM radio back in 1983. This is an excellent A++ CD. It sounds better than the official Live Alcatrazz release - Live Sentence.

Enjoy! - CHELROB
Cheers! PLAY THIS THING LOUD and let the heavy metal sounds of '83 wash over you once again!
