AIR’s 2002 European tour was filmed through the enchanted lens of graphic artist Bruno Dunckel. The fact that Dunckel comes from a designer background explains how live concert and road trip footage become delicious eye candy that transport us into the hypnotic atmosphere of AIR, focusing on details that filmmakers might have overlooked. With minimalist dialogue and upbeat stylistic editing, the film is a suavely psychedelic blend between a musical documentary and an extended video clip. Pictures speak louder than words for the exclusive French duo, who would tell you themselves, “it’s all about the music…"
