From the Wolfenden Report, which in 1957 dared to suggest that male homosexuality should no longer be a crime, to 2007's Gay Pride march in London, Tom Robinson explores the portrayal of homosexuality in the media.

Episode 1 - He looks back from the late 1950s to the early 70s. Contributors include actor Murray Melvin, broadcaster Paul Gambaccini and author Maureen Duffy.

Episode 2 - He looks at the last 25 years, examining the impact AIDS first had on the gay community and how today gay culture is very much a part of the diverse society in which we live. Contributors include comedienne Rhona Cameron and former Eastenders actor Michael Cashman.
