Double Science - Series One
A sitcom about two incompetent science teachers who work at a college that specialises in drama, whose world in turned upside down by the arrival of a new boss.
01 Pilot Episode
When the head of science dies of a heart attack, his replacement is determined to revitalise the department. Colin and Kenneth must deal with their new boss and the constant harassment by Danny Woods, the pretentious drama teacher who cannot resist goading them.
02 Moving House
The department is in turmoil. Someone is breaking into the labs at night, which means Kenneth will have to look for a new home. Alison still can't find a place to stay. Into this mix comes Donna, their new student who has a unique method of funding her own education.
03 Real Ale
It's the annual Real Ale competition but Colin and Kenneth have each entered a rival brew which leads to a bitter feud. Alison despairs of running a science department where the staff won't speak to one another.
04 Field Trip
Forresters College students are going on a trip to look at some wind farms. Colin is very excited at the prospect of impressing Alison, while Kenneth is looking forward to drinking the full selection of real ales at a local pub. Unfortunately, things don't turn out quite as planned.
05 Bonfire Night
Kenneth and Colin are planning their annual fireworks display, but Alison forbids them to spend the entire budget on massive Chinese pyrotechnics. Colin and Kenneth are not going to disappoint the students, so they decide to make their own.
06 Forresters FM
Danny is quick to exploit the college's temporary FM radio licence, staging his own radio plays where he plays Heathcliff to Alison's Cathy. Jealous Colin writes his own play, also featuring Alison with Kenneth doing all the sound effects. Unfortunately, Kenneth has a severe attack of the nerves during the broadcast and Colin's attempt to impress Alison backfires spectacularly.
