The much loved cricket commentator Brian Johnston performs his hilarious 1993 one-man show at London's Richmond Theatre.

In 1993, at the age of 80, Brian Johnston embarked on his first ever concert tour, a one-man show called "An Evening With Johnners", which blended stories about his life with the many jokes and puns for which he was renowned.

Two recordings were made from it - "An Evening With Johnners" and "An Hour With Johnners".

The years at the BBC provided him with a fund of glorious memories and anecdotes, the best of which he describes here in his inimitable style. Some, such as the famous "leg-over" incident with co-commentator Jonathan Agnew, have gone down in broadcasting history; others are less well known and will be discovered for the first time here; all, however, are a pleasure to savour and will provide his many fans with a unique opportunity to sit down and enjoy An Hour With Johnners.
