The Tequila Records is an independent South African company that specializes in music production of new and established artists of the wider region of South Africa who drawn by the widespread perception of jazz, combining great modern music forms with the delivery, penetrating to the site of the beautiful world music and keeping the authenticity of the South African ichorythmias. The saxophonist Mike Makhalemele was one of the most special cases of what is genuine and separate marabi and township jazz, the band Jazz Hounds - with the Greek guitarist Gregory Georgiadis of the ranks - mixes the Mediterranean with the specificity contemporary jazz fusion, the band Magic Cactus provides excellent modern African funk rock, the Stimela is the face of South African Soul while Glen Nxumalo and his company derive from religious tradition, in speaking directly to the heart.
