This genre of film/ a collective film/is the first time in the history of Malayalam cinema. The film intends to represent people and incidents in contemporary Kerala. Ranjith the filmmaker, will be Chief Architect of the project in the role of producer and giving a solid uniform wrap for the project.
The ten Directors in the platform created by Ranjith are SHAJI KAILAS, SYAMAPRASAD, LALJOSE, B.UNNIKRISHNAN, ANWAR RASHID, M.PADMAKUMAR, REVATHY, ANJALI MENON, UDAY ANANTHAN and SHANKAR RAMAKRISHNAN. All ten films will feature actors of the directors choice and the actors will not be repeated in other directors films. Movie by shankar ramakrishnan has been titled as \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Island express\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and the cast includes prithviraj,jayasurya,rahman,maniyan pilla raju...and the cinematography is by S.Kumar.
