In 2005 Lord Tim decided to end the legacy of Dungeon, the band he had led for the last 16 years. Due to the ever-changing members, he did not feel like the band should have the Dungeon name to it anymore. He and Dungeons last drummer Tim Yatras have carried on under the name Lord.
Lord was originally formed as Lord Tims solo project, and the first album is done in a different style to the familiar Dungeon sound the band will continue with from "Ascendence" onwards.
