Until Further Notice was formed in January of 2004. Since that time, they have grown continually and have been exposed to many different influences, all of which have added to their sound. Competing and placing 1st in multiple battle of the bands, judges have commented highly on both vocal ability and their catchy melodies. "This kid has a voice...like the vocals! I am really into their beat. It's my kind of music and I really dig 'em!" (Matt McLain, Community Affairs, Salt Lake City Public Library Battle of the Bands) "Interesting sound, unique and fun to listen to. Great energy, love harmonies! Good audience participation." (Judge Comments, The Riverton Art Festival Battle of the Bands) With an alternative rock style, their music can be compared to anything from slow and soft harmonic melodies to up-beat progressive renditions. All three members come from a different place influentially and belong to different genres. This is why Until Further Notice is so unique. Some of their major influences are Weezer, Muse, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana to name a few.
