Girls Aloud - Where Did It All Go Right?

Five
It wasn't supposed to happen like this. This was most certainly not in the script. The plan, and everyone agreed with this, was that the boys were going to win Popstars The Rivals, have a couple of hits and then disappear without trace within the year. The somebody who didn't agree with the plan was Louis Walsh, who pulled out a killer track in Sound Of The Underground, which went on to kick lumps out of the boy's meagre efforts. And so began one of the most unexpected careers in pop-music.
The show tells the story of how Girls Aloud came to be formed. It puts to bed the myth that they came from nowhere. They didn't, they all really really wanted success and had been busting a gut to get it well before they made it onto the TV show that finally launched them. Therefore they were well prepared for the hard work that goes into creating and maintaining a successful pop-act.
We look at the different elements that make up the group and why they as a team are greater than the sum of the parts, and what that means for the future of the band now some 6 years after their first flush of success.
