The title Edlx Tool refers to the fact that the tracks are stripped down and extremely useful for mixing. Still, to prevent any confusion, what we have here are actually two finished versions of a haunting prime time Techno track.

The CLR team is thrilled to welcome one of the true godfathers of Techno for the first time on the label. Over the last years, Speedy J. and Chris Liebing have produced loads of music together, so it was only a question of time when they would finally do something for Chris well-established imprint.

The title Edlx Tool refers to the fact that the tracks are stripped down and extremely useful for mixing. Still, to prevent any confusion, what we have here are actually two finished versions of a haunting prime time Techno track. Both of them have proven their efficiency many times over the last months in the producers sets.

Each one of the artists has applied a proper handwriting to his version. They are both quite linear and thrifty, but each element perfectly fulfils its task. The sound quality is as brilliant as we could have expected from those restless studio wizards. The absence of dispensable elements and the depth of each single sound turn those tracks into sonic delicacies. Which one of them might finally end up in a DJs set will be more than anything a matter of personal needs and taste.

It is hard to find appropriate words for the massive sound of this record, but as soon as you will play or hear one of those tracks on a good sound system, you will understand the intention of their makers.

This is what Chris has to say about the track: Here is the new CLR. Its a great track by Speedy J. He actually thinks that its not finished yet, and that its more of a tool. Well, I played his so-called tool quite a lot lately and found it works amazingly well on the dance floor. So we decided to release it and I sat down to produce an edit of it. I tried to make it sound the way it sounds when I play it out, mixing and mashing it up with other stuff. I guess you get the point. The digital release will even include another tool of the so-called tool
