Doctor Who - The Five Doctors
Soundtrack by Peter Howell
BBC Radiophonic Workshop 1983
A true stereo mix of the extended version soundtrack (digitally sourced from the isolated score on the DVD).
When putting this together, I discovered two faults on the isolated score - a drop-out in one track (fixed by using an identical section from the same track) and a drum beat repeated at the end of another track (fixed with a simple cut). Compared to the TV version, this soundtrack has a much better flow to it, and several tracks lent themselves to being mixed, and some with little to no silence between tracks - to lend itself to an enjoyable listen. I have been quite detailed with my track titles, using multiple titles where cues have been mixed.
Includes 3 sound effects, 2 excerpts and full CD cover art.

N.B. My previous post of this was sourced from a live recording from the original DVD - this version is far better quality. When I looked at the score for the TV version - I found lots of jarring transitions between tracks that would make mixing impossible. But for the completists amongst you, I will be posting a patch for this which will include all the unmixed mono cues from the TV version - with adjusted cover art (both versions will fit on one CD).
